IBM Petroleum Limited has opened a new service station at Sankore in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo Region.
The edifice marks the first fully owned service station operationalized this year by the company adding up to the already existing 64 fuel outlets across the country.
The new station has a spacious yard equipped with an ultra-modern materials, a lube bay and a mart that will cater to all vehicles needs. The station is strategically positioned to serve customers in and around the busy business areas and its environs.
Also, the station is designed with two pumps island with two nozzles each that will dispense Super and Diesel.
Speaking at the grand opening ceremony, the managing Director of IBM Petroleum Limited, Michael Owusu Asiedu expressed his satisfaction at the infrastructure. He also emphasised the need to work towards the vision and mission of the company.

" I am extremely delighted to see this wonderful dream achieved in this area. I must emphasize that, the vision of the company was a great source of motivation in putting up such a state-of-the-art service station at such a prime location", he said.
Mr Michael Owusu Asiedu also took the opportunity urged the community and all adjourning towns to patronise the fuel service station and all of its services it renders.
Also, the Marketing Director of the Company, Prince Owusu Yeboah highlighted that the company is ranked as one of the best in pricing and in quality delivery of fuel hence, customers are assured of value for money any time they patronise services from the company.

In attendance at the sod- cutting ceremony for the commencement of Sales was the Krontihene of Sankore, Nana Ankra, Chief Linguist, Nana Kwarteng, Police District Commander, ASP Gyan, some officials from GNFS and Assembly members.
IBM Petroleum Limited was adjudged Best Growing Oil and Gas Company at the 2022 Ghana Oil and Gas Awards ( GOGA) in Accra.
The company grew its market share from 1.12 in 2020 to 1.41% in 2021 and 1.80% as of November 2022.
In 2021 December, IBM was listed among the best 10 performing OMCs by NPA. IBM was number 16. As of the second quarter of 2022, IBM had risen to the 11th position and currently sits as the 10th best oil marketing Company in Ghana.
