Ghana international Patrick Kpozo has been unveiled as new Banik Ostrava player after leaving Sheriff Tiraspol.
The left-back joins the Czech Republic side signing a two-year deal ahead of the start of the new season.
The 25-year-old joined Sheriff Tiraspor from Swedish club Ostersund in January 2022, and after just 18 months there, he made enough of an impression to earn a call-up to the national team while also sealing a transfer this summer.
For Sheriff Tiraspor, Kpozo made 25 plays in all competitions, helping them win their eighth straight league championship and qualify for the UEFA Champions League. They completed a domestic double by successfully defending the Moldovan Cup.
The defender made his national team debut during the recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar.
He is expected to make use of his experience from his past club to Ostrava who only managed a 12th-place finish last season.
