The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) has launched the 34th edition of the CIMG Annual National Marketing Performance Awards.
The Governing Council of CIMG launched the annual awards on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in Accra.
In an address, the National President for the Institute, Dr. Daniel Kasser-Tee said the awards ceremony is held to, among other things, create awareness about the relevance of marketing for the success of businesses, promote higher professional marketing standards and excellence among practitioners, and to also recognise organisations for showing resilience for the year under review.
He furthered that, the 34th edition of the awards is to celebrate marketers and serve as a testament to their resilience, adaptability, and unwavering dedication to the profession.
“Despite the adversities faced, the marketing community has persevered, demonstrating remarkable resilience and ingenuity”.
“We cannot recount the success story of the CIMG awards without reference to the benevolence of our donors, the support we receive in diverse ways from sponsors and the solid commitment of the team of assessors", he added.
Theodore Osae, Chairman of the Awards Planning and Selection Committee, said CIMG is committed to keeping the awards processes simple, transparent and fair.
“I wish to boldly say that the CIMG takes pride in the several landmark accomplishments, which have greatly contributed towards improvements in organisational and professional performances, and especially so, for practicing Marketers.”

This year’s awards is under the theme ““Marketing: A Tool for Economic Recovery”.
