As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Rose Aluminium Company Ltd. has donated items, prepared food, and fed scores of needy and vulnerable children both breakfast and dinner. This event took place on boxing day, the 26th of December 2023 during the Christmas festivities.
The event, which was facilitated by L&G Foundation, a group that solicits for support for needy children also coincided with the official launch of the 30th anniversary celebration of the company. The children were fed with nutritious food prepared by some staff of the company, supported by some professional caterers.

Speaking to Joy Business, the Executive Director of Rose Aluminium Company Ltd, Mr. Barima Osei-Bonsu said the act is a routine exercise conducted by the company to give back to the society.

He added that the gesture also forms part of the vision of the founder of the company, Madam Vivian Serwaa Adu, to help the poor and vulnerable in the society.

“For us, we are guided by the compassion to give back to people in our society who are underserved. We see it as a duty to help the poor”, he said.
“For this year, it coincided with the official launch of our 30th anniversary celebration. We couldn’t find a better way to launch the anniversary celebration than this chance to give to support and put smiles on the faces of these children during the Christmas season where they would’ve been otherwise forgotten”, he added.
He stated that the company will continue to contribute to the economy of the country by creating jobs and producing premium quality hollowware to serve the nation and the West African sub-region.
According to him, the company cannot detach itself from the community it operates, hence the decision to always look back and assist the needy.
“This company has operated for 30 years and we have always worked with the people in our community. We provide employment for many people and we believe that helping the needy is part of our responsibility”.
On his part, the Founder of the L&G foundation Rev. George Gbekie expressed his deepest appreciation to the company.

He thanked management and the board of the company for coming to the aid of the children, by donating items and preparing food for them.
“You can see the excitement on the faces of these children at a critical time like this when people are making merry. It’s a blessing to remember those who do not have and decide to come to their aid and put smiles on their faces”.

Rev. Gbekie thanked the founder of Rose Aluminium Company Ltd for responding promptly and spearheading the donation exercise.

He urged corporate Ghana to learn from the kind gesture of Rose Aluminium Company Ltd.
