Ghana Women's Premier League side, Jonina Ladies Football Club, has experienced a significant improvement in performance since the appointment of Joseph Osei Owusu as head coach.
Owusu assumed his position during the middle of the season when the team was struggling in the seventh position on the league table.
With his expertise and strategic approach, Owusu has been determined to turn things around for the team, and his efforts have not been in vain.
Under his guidance, Jonina Ladies are back to winning games resulting in their rise on the table. Currently, they occupy the fourth position, much to the delight of the followers of the club.
Over the past five matches, Jonina Ladies have secured three wins and two draws, conceding only one which is a testament to their strong defensive performance.

On matchday 10, Jonina Ladies played against Soccer Intellectuals and emerged victorious with a close scoreline of 1-0. The team displayed excellent teamwork and determination to secure the win.
Jonina Ladies faced LadyStrikers then played out a goalless draw. Despite not scoring, their defensive stability was commendable.
They also held Police FC to another stalemate before securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Faith Ladies.
In their most recent match, in the 14th week, Jonina Ladies played against Sea Lion FC and emerged triumphant with a convincing victory. Their attacking prowess was on full display as they scored four goals, leaving their opponents stunned.
Joseph Osei Owusu's impact as the new head coach of the club has been remarkable.
