Mr. Mani stated that the donation is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts. "This is about giving something back to society. The products are extremely good for children and adults as well. They were the most preferred products during the Covid time," he said.
The contributions from Indus Life Sciences will enable Afrika Nyornu to expand its reach and impact in several critical areas.
Maloe Nartey emphasized the importance of replenishing nutrients after menstrual cycles to enhance the girls' alertness and concentration levels in school. She stated that her organization, with the help of Indus Life Sciences will also distribute vitamins to the girls across the country.

"We also realize that when you menstruate, you lose a lot of nutrients alongside the blood. We are taking Zincovit, which has a lot of vitamins and nutrients for the girl child. Indus Life Science Private Limited is also giving us Zincofer, which is made up of Zinc and Iron to replenish what is lost during menstruation. Additionally, they are providing vaginal hygiene products to help with vaginal issues and other reproductive health-related concerns."

Afrika Nyornu invites everyone to join in celebrating Menstrual Hygiene Day 2024 and in working towards a period-friendly world. Whether through attending events, spreading awareness, or continuing to support the initiatives, public involvement is crucial.
