Gospel musician Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong, popularly known as Great Ampong, has announced that he has been ordained as a reverend minister in the United States of America.
The ordination was done by Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng at his church, Divine Word International Ministries, to appreciate the singer for his contribution to the gospel music ministry.
“I’ve been Ordained as Rev. Minister of God in my music ministry in USA Virtual. Thank you God," Ampong took to Facebook to announced the honour.
Speaking at the ceremony, he asked God to forgive him for holding grudge against anybody in the past. He specifically mentioned Daddy Lumba, with whom he had a misunderstanding over dividends from their joint album launch.
Great Ampong has to his credit, songs like 'Onyame Tumfo', 'Fa Yesu', 'Maranatha', 'Hossana,' 'Akoko Funu', among others.
