The staff of the Upper East regional office of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) have honoured the authority's Chief Executive Officer, Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, for his leadership of the organisation.

They say Dr Abdul-Hamid’s all-inclusive leadership style and commitment to ensuring that all workers of the NPA have the necessary support and logistics to perform their duties have created a very conducive work environment for the staff and hence their decision to honour him.
During a recent work visit by the CEO of NPA to the Upper East Region, the Regional Manager, Bashiru Natogma led his staff to present a citation to the CEO.

“Your honest and brave leadership technics is worth emulating”, a part of the citation read.
Presenting the citation to Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, the Upper East Regional Manager of the NPA, Bashiru Natogma described the CEO of the NPA as a “result-oriented and compassionate leader who has the nation’s interest at heart”.

Receiving the citation, Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid commended the staff for their hard work so far.
He urged them to continue their good work, to ensure effective and efficient distribution of petroleum products in the region.
