The African finals of Afro Break International Championship 2024 comes on October 27 in Accra, at Fase Gardens at Labadi.
20 African nations from South Africa, Nigeria, Liberia, Uganda, Kenya Togo, Senegal, Gabon, Congo, Cote d’ivoire, Mozambique and others, will be represented.
According to President of Ghana Breaking Federation, Nana Tufour Okai, the event is going to be the biggest breaking competition in the continent’s history, as the participants have increased.
Ghana will be represented B boy Nagi and his compatriot and last year’s runner up, B boy Blesso has urged him do one better for Ghana this time around.
There would also be workshops, conferences and other activations from October 25 before the main event on October 27.
Breaking is growing in popularity on the continent and Ghana has not been left out. It was one of the new sports introduced at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
