Coachhene Sports Club has made a donation to the Stroke Unit of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
The UK-based club, named after the late legendary Ghanaian coach E.K. Afranie, who spent some time at the Stroke Unit before his untimely death, was founded by his son Emmanuel Afranie Jr.
Emmanuel Afranie Jr. handed over a package of blood pressure monitors to Monica Naa Annoa Appiah, Deputy Chief Nursing Officer in charge of the stroke unit at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The unit expressed their gratitude for the benevolence of the CoachHene sports club and Memorial Foundation over the years and requested additional support. Coachhene Sports Club, in turn, promised to supply heart monitors, which are currently needed.
Coachhene Sports Club, one of the leading non-traditional leading grassroots club in North West England, have repeatedly signed players to top football academies.
