The Emmanuel Praise Choir of the Emmanuel Methodist Church Atonsu-Agogo in Kumasi swept congregants and patrons off their feet at the choir’s annual praise concert, Altar of Praise.
The Christian event which began in 2019 was in its fifth year of celebration under the theme: “Joy Overflow”.
Held within the precinct of the church, the concert was opened by the Emmanuel Voice - a singing group at the Adult service of the church.

The choir treated patrons to good local contemporary music and danceable tunes to rekindle their hearts to receive many blessings for the night.
Juveniles of the Emmanuel Praise Choir sustained the energy for the evening as they elevated an endless praise to their deity for protection in the entire year.

As if that was not enough, guest artiste for the night and ace gospel musician, Kwaku Gyasi, known for his unique baritone voice swept patrons off their feet with some of his hit songs.
From his popular hit “Ayeyi ahy3 m’akoma ma” mixed with other local tunes, the music maestro thrusted patrons into an electrifying night as they danced their hearts out for a fruitful year.
Then came the icing on the cake, the host choir, Emmanuel Praise Choir, exalting God on the night with an Akan appellation to tell of his resplendence and power.

From carefully selected foreign and local gospel music, the choir thrilled the church and patrons to emphasize the abundance of joy.
Over the past five years, the choir has given patrons an everlasting encounter with God through music.
