Ghanaian actress Lovia Ansah, popularly known as Nana Adjoa Lovia, has encouraged aspiring actresses to reject all forms of exploitation in the film industry as they work towards their dreams of becoming superstars.
According to Nana Adjoa Lovia, who is also the CEO of Nakies Films Production, young actresses should focus on developing their skills and putting in the necessary effort to achieve success.
She strongly condemned the unethical practice of "sex for roles," urging women in the industry to pursue their ambitions without compromising their integrity.
"My advice to upcoming actresses is that they should not give their bodies to anyone in pursuit of fame or honing their talent. They should stay true to their craft and stand firm against exploitation, as their potential will always prevail," she said in an interview.
She further emphasised that the growing trend of "sex for roles" creates an unhealthy environment that distracts aspiring actresses from focusing on their talent and ultimately undermines their values.
Nana Adjoa Lovia has gained recognition in the film industry, starring alongside renowned actors such as Mercy Johnson, Ngozi Ezeonu, Ray Okafo, and Walter Anga.
One of her most recent productions, *Deadly Obsession*, featuring Aaron Adatsi, has received widespread acclaim and is tipped to win Best Movie of the Year.
