The English Premier League trophy has left Ghana after a successful 4-day visit, marking another exciting chapter in its global tour.
Brought to the country by Guinness, the official beer sponsor of the league, the trophy’s arrival on Friday night was met with enthusiastic fanfare at the airport, where local football supporters eagerly awaited its arrival.
The highly anticipated visit continued with a press conference featuring former Premier League stars John Paintsil and John Mensah, both of whom shared their experiences of the league and their time playing in England. The event highlighted the growing influence of the Premier League in Ghana, a nation with an undeniable passion for football.
