The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) chapter of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) has inaugurated two study rooms and a business centre to provide enhanced academic support for graduate students.
The facilities, located at the Greenhill campus, are equipped with modern furniture and are designed to offer a quiet and conducive space for research, study, and academic collaboration.
The business centre also provides printing and other academic services at affordable rates.
The project was initiated under the leadership of the outgoing GRASAG President, Sitsope Apetorgbor, who described it as a response to the pressing needs of graduate students.
She expressed appreciation to GIMPA management for their support in allocating space for the project and helping to make it a reality.
At the commissioning ceremony, the Deputy Rector of GIMPA, Professor Ebenezer Adaku, lauded the GRASAG leadership for their initiative and noted the significance of student-led development efforts.
He commended the role of female leadership in driving change and encouraged the new GRASAG President, Celestina Adu, to uphold high standards.
Ms. Adu, in her remarks, pledged to continue prioritising student welfare and to build upon the foundation laid by her predecessor.
Also present was the Patron of GRASAG, Professor Wisdom Akpalu, who urged students to take good care of the facilities and use them responsibly.
The Director of Estate and Municipal Services, Lawrence Avevor, congratulated GRASAG on independently delivering the project. The event ended with a tour of the new facilities
