Renowned Ghanaian industrialist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Dr. Nick Danso Adjei, has been honored for his outstanding contribution to business and national development with a Lifetime Africa Achievement Prize at the Millennium Excellence Awards 2025, held at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
As Executive Chairman of Ghana Link Network Services Ltd, Dr. Adjei has implemented innovative trade facilitation solutions, including the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS), enhancing operational efficiencies at Ghana's ports and borders.

Dr. Danso Adjei’s ventures in the energy sector also demonstrate his dedication to diversifying Ghana’s economy and creating sustainable growth opportunities. He has provided employment opportunities for Ghanaian youth and professionals through his various companies.
After receiving the Lifetime Africa prize, Dr. Adjei emphasized that employing people brings him happiness.
He noted that such awards boost his energy to contribute more to Ghana's development, with plans to complete his cement factory this year.
Dr. Danso Adjei credited his family, friends, and hometown as his greatest motivators, acknowledging their support as driving forces behind his success.
Millennium Excellence Awards, under the patronage of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is held every 5 years and has recognised over 100 individuals and institutions since its maiden ceremony in 2000.
