The 2025 Ghana–China Business Summit has officially concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and partnership.
The summit was under the theme “Enhancing Security and Infrastructure for Investment: Opportunities for Ghana–China Collaboration.”
It brought together distinguished assembly of Chinese state-owned enterprises, government leaders, captains of industry, and policymakers to deepen strategic cooperation.
The summit served as a pivotal platform to drive joint ventures, infrastructure financing, technology transfer, and market expansion, with Ghana showcased as the gateway to West Africa and a rising node in global supply chains.
Speaking at the closing ceremony on behalf of President John Mahama, the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to building an investor-driven economy.
He announced that Ghana will host a grander Ghana Business Summit in 2026, extending a warm invitation to Chinese investors to deepen their footprint in Ghana’s thriving economic landscape.
“With the 24-Hour Economy agenda in full motion, Ghana is set to become Africa’s industrial and logistics hub. The President has tasked us to create a dependable, investor-friendly environment that secures returns and drives inclusive growth. Chinese enterprises are strategic to this vision,” he stated.
