Ghana’s capital is set to host a major international hospitality and drinks expo as the Accra Bar Show 2025 was officially launched at a press conference on Monday, July 28.
The highly anticipated event will take place from August 8–10, 2025, at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra.
The Accra Bar Show, described as a premier drinks and hospitality expo, aims to bring together industry professionals, mixologists, culinary creatives, and beverage enthusiasts from around the world to explore emerging trends, products, and innovations shaping the future of the hospitality sector in Africa.

Founder of the Accra Bar Show, Kojo Aidoo, expressed his excitement at the launch, emphasizing the vision behind the event as a platform for connection, education, and celebration of the vibrant industry in Ghana and beyond.
“It fills me with immense pride and excitement to stand before you today as the founder of the Accra Bar Show. For years, I’ve dreamt of a platform that celebrates the vibrant spirit of Accra’s hospitality... a space for seasoned professionals to push boundaries, for rising stars to make their mark, and for us to discover new flavours, techniques, and connections,” he said.
According to Aidoo, the three-day expo will feature masterclasses, live demonstrations, panel discussions, and bartending competitions, creating opportunities for learning, networking, and entertainment.
He added that the show is not just an event but the product of passion, dedication, and the incredible talent that lives within Ghana’s bars, restaurants, and hotels.
The Accra Bar Show 2025 will offer attendees the chance to explore cutting-edge products and services from both local and international exhibitors. It will also provide a platform to engage with thought leaders and experts on critical issues affecting the hospitality and drinks industry.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in networking sessions that foster business opportunities and international collaborations, while also gaining hands-on knowledge from industry workshops and tasting sessions.
Positioned as a major date on the global hospitality calendar, the Accra Bar Show seeks to cement Ghana’s reputation as a dynamic hub for culinary and beverage excellence on the continent.
