Global InfoAnalytics has conducted a new poll on the upcoming presidential primaries ahead of the 2028 general election.
The poll focuses on the two major political parties in the country, the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

It features key figures from the parties, including Haruna Iddrisu, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, and Julius Debrah of the NDC, as well as Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Agyapong, and others from the NPP.
Below are the findings, detailing how the contenders are faring in the race.
In the 2028 general election head-to-head scenario between Dr Bawumia and NDC front runners,
o Nketia 50%, Dr Bawumia 45% and Someone else 5%.
o Julius 46%, Dr Bawumia 50% and Someone else 4%.
o Dr Forson 53%, Dr Bawumia 44% and Someone else 3%.
o Iddrisu, 55%, Dr Bawumia 42% and Someone else 3%.

However, in the swing regions the race is as follows:
o Mr. Iddrisu 63%, Dr Bawumia 35%, Someone else, 2%
o Dr Forson 65%, Dr Bawumia 33%, Someone else 2%
o Mr Nketia 61%, Dr Bawumia 36%, Someone else 3%
o Mr. Debrah 58%, Dr Bawumia, 39%, Someone else 3%
However, Kennedy Agyapong were to be NPP’s candidate against the NDC front runners:
o Nketia 51%, Agyapong 44% and Someone else 5%.
o Julius 46%, Agyapong 49% and Someone else 5%.
o Dr Forson 54%, Agyapong 42% and Someone else 4%.
o Iddrisu, 55%, Agyapong 41% and Someone else 4%.
In the swing regions:
o Mr. Iddrisu 62%, Mr. Agyapong 35, Someone else, 3%
o Dr Forson 64%, Mr. Agyapong 34, Someone else 2%.
o Mr Nketia 60%, Mr. Agyapong 37%, Someone else 3%
o Mr. Debrah 56%, Mr. Agyapong, 40%, Someone else 4%
