Ghanaian rapper Asumadu and singer-songwriter Ben Brainy have officially released their powerful new single, “One Day,” a soul-stirring anthem of hope, perseverance, and faith.
The emotional record dropped on October 6, 2025, and is already resonating deeply with listeners across Ghana and beyond.
Produced by Braindom and mixed and mastered by Mr. Henry, “One Day” beautifully blends touching lyricism with warm Afro-fusion rhythms, resulting in a sound that feels both uplifting and timeless.
The song delivers a message of encouragement, reminding audiences that with patience and belief, every struggle leads to success.
“This song is a reminder that no matter how hard things get, everything will eventually fall into place,” Asumadu shared. “It’s about believing that your moment will come one day.”
Through Asumadu’s reflective rap verses and Ben Brainy’s soulful vocals, “One Day” captures the universal journey of chasing dreams despite life’s obstacles. The song is not only motivational but deeply personal speaking to anyone striving to overcome difficulties and achieve their goals.
The release also marks another chapter in the strong musical partnership between the two artists. Asumadu and Ben Brainy previously worked together on “An Angel” and “She’s Feeling Me,” featuring Ruff N Smooth, both of which showcased their undeniable chemistry. With “One Day,” they’ve taken that bond to a higher level, merging lyrical depth with mainstream appeal that connects with audiences across cultures.
Born Asumadu Mensah Solomon in Kumasi, Ghana, Asumadu began his career under the name Young So before rebranding to reflect his artistic growth. A rapper, DJ, and songwriter, he is known for blending Afrobeat, hip-hop, and highlife with conscious messages inspired by real-life experiences.
Signed under Hometown Records & Events, Asumadu has earned recognition for hits like “T3nt3l3but33l3”, An Angel, and Mad Tape Vol. 1, solidifying his place as one of Ghana’s most authentic voices.
Ben Brainy, also signed to Hometown Records, continues to rise as one of Ghana’s most soulful and promising singers. With popular songs like “Location” and “Wa Sei Ho,” he has become known for his emotional delivery and relatable storytelling. On “One Day,” his vocal performance shines with sincerity, perfectly complementing Asumadu’s lyrical power.
The production, handled by Braindom, features lush instrumentals, warm melodies, and smooth percussion that give the record its inspiring yet radio-friendly feel. The mixing and mastering by Mr. Henry brings balance and clarity to the sound, ensuring a top-quality listening experience suitable for both local and international airplay.
“One Day” is now available for streaming on all major digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Audiomack.
