Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has officially confirmed that her much-anticipated third studio album, Ready, will drop on October 24.
The announcement came on Friday night, October 10, when the award-winning artist revealed the album’s cover art across her social media pages.
Describing Ready as a symbol of “transformation, strength, value, and prosperity,” Wendy told fans that this new era represents growth and a deeper layer of her artistry.
The post immediately sparked excitement across social media, with fans flooding her comments in anticipation of what many expect to be her most defining project yet.

While she has kept the full tracklist and featured artists under wraps, Wendy’s recent streak of releases: Psycho, Sapiosexual, Apology, Too Late 2.0, and Crazy Love, suggests the album will explore themes of love, resilience, and self-discovery through a fusion of Afrobeats, highlife, and modern pop sounds.
The singles have also reignited conversations about her versatility and potential claim to “Artist of the Year” status in the coming awards cycle.
The album’s announcement follows Wendy Shay’s decision to postpone her annual Shay Concert from October to November 22.
The change, she explained, was made to pay respect to the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, whose final funeral rites will be held in October.
“In honor of the late, great Daddy Lumba, we’ve moved The Shay Concert to 22nd November 2025 to make way for his funeral as we pay our final respects to the legend. Thank you all for your love, understanding, and support. #SHAYGANG,” she shared in a statement on social media.
Wendy Shay’s upcoming release stands as both a personal milestone and a tribute to artistic resilience.
With just under two weeks until Ready drops, anticipation is at an all-time high for what could be one of the standout albums of the year.
