A major partnership is taking shape between the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) and the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) as both institutions prepare to collaborate during the GUBA Trade & Investment Conference 2025 in Bridgetown.
Set for November 10–11, 2025, the conference forms part of the wider GUBA Awards Barbados 2025 celebrations under the theme “Reclaiming Our Atlantic Destiny: Connect. Build. Renew.”

This landmark collaboration seeks to deepen commercial exchanges between Africa and the Caribbean, opening new channels for investment, trade, and enterprise development across key sectors, including tourism, finance, creative industries, and agro-processing.
Speaking ahead of the event, Lady Dentaa Amoateng MBE, President and Founder of GUBA Enterprise, noted that the partnership between the two chambers marks “an opportunity for us to connect as a people”

Both Chambers are expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the conference, paving the way for joint business missions, market access programs, and exchange visits between Ghana and Barbados.
The initiative has been welcomed by both governments as part of a broader strategy to boost South–South collaboration and diaspora-led investment, aligning with the African Union’s Agenda 2063 vision.
The GUBA Trade & Investment Conference will convene business leaders, investors, and policymakers from across Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora to explore opportunities for sustainable growth and mutual advancement.
