The Automobile Association of Ghana says it is working to help fully operationalise the government’s flagship 24-Hour Economy initiative.
According to the Association, the move is part of efforts to boost productivity, enhance transportation efficiency, and support industrial growth across the country.
President of the Association, Jeffrey Oppong Peprah, made this known at the launch of the new Volkswagen T-Cross in Accra.
He explained that the Association is developing strategic interventions to ensure that mobility services and vehicle operations effectively align with the round-the-clock policy.
“As a key stakeholder in the transport and automotive industry, we recognize the critical role mobility plays in sustaining production and service delivery under a 24-hour economy. Our aim is to help create a reliable system that keeps Ghana moving day and night,”
Mr. Oppong Peprah further emphasised that the Association’s plan complements government’s industrialization and job creation agenda by ensuring smooth logistics and vehicle accessibility for businesses operating under the policy.
The 24-Hour Economy initiative, introduced by the government, aims to promote continuous business operations across sectors to enhance productivity, create jobs, and drive economic transformation.
