Silver Star Tower, Ghana’s premier office complex located in Airport City, Accra, has officially unveiled plans for its next landmark development, Silver Star Tower II (SST2).

The announcement was made during a grand ceremony commemorating the 20th anniversary of the original Silver Star Tower.
The event drew key stakeholders from the business community, real estate sector, and long-standing tenants, marking a moment of reflection and forward-looking ambition.
A Vision of Modernity: Silver Star Tower II
Silver Star Tower II is set to redefine Accra’s skyline with its ultra-modern, curvilinear design.
The 10-storey structure will offer 25,000 square meters of premium office space, complemented by 2,000 square meters of retail outlets and underground parking for 355 vehicles.
The building’s unique architectural feature, two towers connected at the base and split at the top, will make it the only structure in Ghana with a tower atop another.
Executive Director Salah Kweku Kalmoni highlighted the building’s sustainability credentials, “SST2 will feature solar technical glass that allows 80% of light in while rejecting 80% of heat.

"It will also include high-efficiency air conditioning, smart lighting systems, and rainwater harvesting, all designed to minimise environmental impact.”
The project has already passed its assessment phase and received its building permit, signalling the start of execution. SST2 will share the same prestigious address as its predecessor in Airport City.
Celebrating Legacy and Looking Ahead
Board Chairman Salem Kalmoni reflected on the journey of Silver Star Tower, recalling the strategic acquisition of the land and the pioneering spirit that led to the first commissioned building in Airport City: “We built something iconic and beautiful.
"Today, Silver Star Tower is featured in many tourist publications and has become the face of modern Accra.”
He commended the management team, led by Salah Kweku Kalmoni, for maintaining the building’s elegance and relevance over two decades.
Executive Secretary of the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA), Samuel Amegayibor, also lauded Silver Star Tower’s contribution to the sector: “Silver Star Tower has consistently upheld GREDA’s values and continues to elevate Ghana’s real estate landscape. Congratulations on this new chapter.”
The evening concluded with a special recognition of outstanding tenants and staff who have contributed to the tower’s enduring success.
