Ghana’s automotive landscape has hit a new milestone with the launch of 5 new ZNA fleets.
The fleets include 3 ZNA turbo diesel pick-ups, the ZNA S 15 SUV and the country’s first-ever electric pick-up the ZNA Rich 7 which brings a new wave of sustainable mobility options to the Ghanaian market.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive Officer of Grace Mobility, Subhi Accad, highlighted the company’s commitment to offer affordable and sustainable vehicles to Ghanaians.
“We've been in the automotive industry since 1941 in Ghana, we’ve represented very famous automobile brands in the world, through companies in the group. And last year, we launched the new brand, the new company, which is Grace mobility, primarily dedicated to sustainable energy electric vehicles which are also affordable,” he said, highlighting the rich experience of Grace Mobility’s parent company, Grace Investment.
The ZNA fleet is the result of a collaboration between Japanese automotive giant Nissan and China’s Dongfeng Motor Corporation. "The partnership between Nissan and Dongfeng — made in China with the decades of technology of Japanese Nissan, coupled with Chinese technology, makes this offering unique and reliable," Mr. Accad noted.
"We have the very first and very powerful electric pickup in Ghana," he said, referring to the Rich 7. "Again, our target does not stop here."

Setting Up an Assembly Plant
Grace Mobility announced that the company is working assiduously to begin the assembling of electric and other sustainable vehicle by 2026. This Mr. Accad believes will create jobs and deepen their footprints in Ghana and Africa.
"We’ve already initiated the process. Our negotiations with the manufacturers are well advanced. We’re also making significant progress with our local application and the procurement of assembly equipment. If all goes as planned, we hope to begin operations by mid-2026", he revealed.
