GCB Bank PLC has launched its “Pa To Pa” Promo, a nationwide savings campaign that will reward loyal customers and offer five winners an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2026 global football festival. The initiative was unveiled in Accra with a ceremonial football match, signalling the start of a five-month drive to encourage savings and deepen customer engagement.
Speaking to Joy Business, the Executive Head of Retail Banking at GCB, Sina Kamagate, said the promotion reflects the bank’s long-standing relationship with its customers and the communities it serves. He noted that football, a unifying passion across the country, provides a natural platform to celebrate and reward customer loyalty.
He explained, “We have operated for 72 years and have been sustained by customers who bring in deposits because they understand that deposits are the lifeblood of banking. In Ghana, soccer unites all of us. This is our way of saying thank you to our customers and giving them the chance to enjoy next year’s World Cup.”

Kamagate added that the mechanics of the promotion are straightforward, giving both active and dormant customers an opportunity to participate. “For every 300 cedis you deposit, you earn a point. Those who have not transacted with us for over six months can reactivate their accounts and also earn points. It is a true ‘Sankofa’ moment. We are inviting them back home.”
He also outlined the prizes that will be awarded each month during the campaign. “There will be monthly draws, and the top 10 customers will win prizes such as televisions, freezers, cookers and other essentials people will need during the World Cup. All these gadgets will be up for grabs.”
The promotion runs from 1 December 2025 to 30 April 2026 and is open to both new and existing customers of GCB Bank PLC. Monthly winners will take home a range of valuable prizes, while five ultimate winners will secure trips to the global football festival, which the bank describes as a celebration of loyalty and a renewed commitment to savings.
