Awake Purified Drinking Water, a leading brand from Kasapreko PLC, has made its quarterly end-of-year donation to the National Cardiothoracic Centre (NCC) at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital as part of its One4Life initiative.
The presentation, which coincided with a Christmas celebration at the Centre, was aimed at supporting patients, uplifting healthcare workers, and reaffirming Awake Water’s commitment to saving lives.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Enstua, Head and Director of the National Cardiothoracic Centre, highlighted the significance of the partnership, noting that it has spanned a decade, beginning on 15th December when Kasapreko initiated discussions to support cardiac patients.
He disclosed that Awake Water’s contributions to date exceed GHS 3.6 million, saving over 143 lives, many of them children. He further encouraged Ghanaians to continue supporting the brand, explaining that 10 pesewas from every bottle of Awake Water sold is donated to the Centre.

Also present, Dr. Lawrence Agyeman Serebore, Immediate Past Head of the Centre, praised Awake Water’s consistency and called on the public to take heart health seriously through fitness, hydration, and healthy living.
The event was attended by Diana Hamilton, Awake Water’s brand ambassador, who shared words of encouragement and prayer with patients and staff.
Representing Kasapreko PLC, Linda Aidoo, Marketing Manager, reiterated the company’s commitment to social impact, stating that the NCC partnership embodies Kasapreko’s belief that people matter over profit and aligns with its mission of producing quality products in an environmentally responsible manner.

A beneficiary of the fund also shared a testimony, thanking Awake Water for the support that enabled her to receive life-saving treatment.
