The police have arrested some 14 people to investigate the incident connected to a protracted chief imamship impasse in the area.
The Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, who is also the Chairman of the REGSEC, promised a careful deliberation to resolve the issue to maintain peace among the Muslim community.
Meanwhile, Graphic online reports that the 14 suspects arrested for interrogation have been released.
