The Founder and Executive Chairman of the First Sky Group of Companies, Mr Eric Seddy Kutortse, has disclosed that his companies have contributed significantly to reducing unemployment in Ghana.
According to Mr Kutortse, the Group has employed over 6,000 people nationwide, reflecting its commitment to driving economic growth and providing meaningful employment opportunities for citizens.
"Across these operations (his firms), over six thousand people have been employed across the regions of our country, supporting families and contributing meaningfully to national development," he said.
"Our mandate is also to create wealth, to bring relief to the poor and the needy, and to support the management and staff of the First Sky Group, as well as my family and my beautiful wife"
"Guided by these principles, we began as a single company and by the grace of God have grown into a diversified Ghanaian conglomerate," he said.
Mr Kutortse was speaking during the conglomerate's 23rd anniversary and thanksgiving service on sunday, January 25 in Accra.
He noted that job creation forms a central part of the Group’s corporate strategy, emphasising that sustainable business practices should go hand in hand with social responsibility and national development.
