The forecourt of The Multimedia Group Limited at Kokomlemle came alive with colour and energy as hundreds gathered for the much-anticipated 2026 Adom TV Fufuo Party.
From the early hours, streams of patrons arrived, many clutching their earthenware bowls, known locally as “asanka” or “apɔtɔ yiwa”, ready to join the queue for a taste of one of Ghana’s most loved meals.

There was a steady buzz across the venue, as laughter, music and conversation blended with the rich aroma of freshly prepared soups, creating an atmosphere that felt both festive and familiar.

Groups of friends and families were seen settling in, eager to enjoy their servings of fufu while soaking in the moment.

For many, it was not just about the food, but the shared experience that brought people together.
Patrons travelled from different parts of the country to be part of the celebration, turning the event into a lively display of culture, community and a deep love for Ghanaian cuisine.

Myjoyonline's photojournalist, David Andoh, was on the ground and captured these striking photos.
