Thousands of worshippers gathered at OVO Arena Wembley in London on Saturday, 22nd August, for MOGmusic’s Back to Basics Worship Experience.

The gathering brought together worshippers from across the United Kingdom and beyond for an evening centred on worship, prayer and a call to spiritual revival.

From the opening moments, the atmosphere built steadily as thousands lifted their voices together, setting the stage for an extended night of worship, prayer and reflection rooted in the vision behind Back to Basics: stripping away distractions and returning to the foundations of the Christian faith: Jesus, prayer, worship and surrender.

The night featured a line-up of ministers and worship leaders, including Emmanuel Smith, Warehouse Worship, Israel Houghton, Ntokozo Mbambo and Joe Mettle, who each led the audience through distinct moments of praise and worship.

Beyond the music, Back to Basics also created space for compassion in action. During the event, attendees were invited to support the work of Compassion, with a call for charitable donations and an opportunity for worshippers to translate their faith into practical generosity towards those in need.

The initiative served as a reminder that worship extends beyond what happens within the walls of an arena and into how believers respond to the needs of others.

When MOGmusic took to the stage, he thanked the thousands who had gathered at Wembley and briefly acknowledged his pastor, Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah, for his guidance and leadership.

He then led the arena into the heart of the Back to Basics experience. Through songs and prayer, MOGmusic led those gathered at OVO Arena Wembley through an intense time of worship and intercession, with the evening taking on the atmosphere of a revival gathering.

For MOGmusic, taking Back to Basics to Wembley represented a significant milestone in a ministry that began in Ghana and has continued to reach audiences around the world.
