Ghana have been beaten 2-0 by Nigeria’s Flying Eagles in the semi-finals of the ongoing African Youth Championships in Senegal.
The Satellites were packed out by a superior Nigeria side and thus will have to wait until the next edition to make another final.
A goal in each half settled matters as both teams, who have already qualified for the U-20 World Cup later this year, looked to win this derby.
The Flying Eagles are through to the final on Sunday. Ghana await the loser of the match between Mali and Senegal on Thursday in the third/fourth place playoff.
