Parliament has been recalled from recess to consider urgent business the Executive wants dealt with, Mr. Jones Kugblenu, Director of Public Affairs of Parliament, has told Joy FM.
The House would thus sit on Tuesday, August 25 to Friday, August 28, according to a tentative programme to consider a supplementary budget of the government to be presented by the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning.
The meeting will also consider nominations to the Supreme Court.
“Tentatively it’s been scheduled to sit from Tuesday to Friday and depending on how business goes, the leadership and the business committee would determine by Friday,” he said.
