Hearts of Oak renew their rivalry with Asante Kotoko when both sides clash at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in the MTN Top 4 competition.
Despite sitting third and fourth on the four-team table after the opening day, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will draw the crowds when both sides clash in Kumasi.
Both sides lost their opening matches by the same margin, 1-2, in midweek and could improve or dent their chances of staying in sight of glory depending on the outcome of their match.
The rivalry between both sides would be enough motivation as they seek to look beyond their bad starts.
Hearts beat Kotoko the last time the clubs met in Kumasi, as the Phobians left the grounds 2-1 winners in the premiership.
With a return leg coming in the second round, a win for either side would be good for their confidence.
However, their faltering starts in the first round has given the other two sides, King Faisal and Heart of Lions renewed hope of claiming success.
Lions will take on Faisal at the Ohene Djan Stadium. A win for either side would certainly enhance their chances.
