Mohammed Polo continues to taunt his former employers, now claiming they miss his touch.
Ever since he was sacked following an acrimonious relationship with fans, the Ghana legend has made it a point to goad the team, whether in success or failure. And with Hearts' 4-0 thrashing in Tunisia to Esperance on Sunday fresh in mind, Polo is not missing the chance to take a dig.
"The team did very well in the first half when it was just 1-0. But the performance totally dropped in the second half. It tells you the team is lacking technical direction," he said on Monday.
The Caf Confederation Cup game was the first leg of the third round that could see the Phobians get into the money zone if they scale the tall order.
The Phobians suffered the massive defeat in the first leg of the ultimate qualifier in Tunis on Sunday.
“While I was with Hearts, the strength of the team always was in their second half display. It is clear that the team misses me,” Polo went on.
The former Hearts superstar had a torrid time while coaching the Phobians, and it is seriously doubtful that the team misses him, for his stint was punctuated with quarrels and dressing room spats.
