The management of Ghana's Under 23 team have hinted that they will consider augmenting the current squad with foreign based players ahead of the second leg preliminary 2016 Olympic Games qualifier in Brazzaville in a fortnight.
The Black Meteors have the advantage going into the second leg after defeating Claude Le Roy's side 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Charles 'Micky Charles' Ntim is a member of the management team.
"We still have players who play for the Black Stars and qualify to play for the Olympic team. Management will take a decision if we need some of them."
"The likes of Baba Rahman, Frank Acheampong, Ebenezer Assifuah are just a few. Many more in the senior national team qualify to play for the Black Meteors," he told Joy Sports in an interview.
"The technical team is going to cast its net very wide because the game against Congo is not going to be easy."
The 2015 CAF U-23 Championship qualifying rounds will decide the eight teams that will make the finals in Senegal .
The three best teams from CAF will represent Africa at the 2016 Summer Olympics men's football tournament.
