Shop-owners at the Tip-Toe Lane at Circle are painstakingly assessing their losses after a fire outbreak ravaged their properties Saturday night.
It has not been established yet the cause of last night’s fire but there are speculations, an electrical cable sparked the fire moments after power was restored to the area after a blackout.
An affected shop owner who spoke to Joy News said he has lost close to sixty thousand Ghana cedis in the inferno.
There were no casualties recorded thanks to the timely intervention of the Fire Service.

Spokesman for the Service Billy Anaglatey said the Service responded to the distress call but due to the combustible nature of materials used to construct the shops, fire fighters had a tough time fighting the fire.
He said the exact cause of the fire is unknown but he suspects that the fire might have been caused by illegal power connections.
He said investigations have begun into the incident.
The fire at the Tip Toe Lane comes just three days after a flood and fire disaster at the GOIL petrol station at Kwame Nkrumah Circle left hundreds dead.
Several others have sustained various degrees of injuries while others have gone missing.
Government has pledged Ȼ50 million to support victims of the disaster and promised that they will be given the best medical care.
GOIL has also announced a Ȼ60 million fund to support victims and relatives of those who died in the disaster.
