Some advertising and marketing agencies in Accra have donated to victims of the June 3 Accra flood and fire disasters.
They made the donation Thursday to support Joy FM’s relief campaign to support victims of the devastating floods and fire which claimed about 150 lives.
The agencies, who came as group, donated assorted items including water, cloths and bread, worth about GHc6,000.
Innova DDB, Rezultz Advertising, Touchpoint Communications, Brand Alert and Interactive Digital made up the group that donated Thursday.
Clarence Amoatey, who led the group, said the donation is aimed at easing the pain of victims of the deadly floods.
He told Myjoyonline.com, “A lot of our neighbours have been affected. We’ve done our small bit by giving things to other people but we want to also help support Joy FM to also touch a lot of other people who have been affected.”
The items were received by Doreen Andoh, host of Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM.
