AshGold full back Tijani Joshua says there are still 33 points to play for and it would be suicidal to think that his side have the league wrapped up.
The Miners kept a seven point gap at the summit of the table after another convincing win over bottom placed BA United.
The Obuasi side have been in pole position from the start commencement of the league and their performances each passing week has been worthy of claiming a league title.
But defender Tijani Joshua has admonished his side to be cautious as there are quite a number of matches to be played.
“It’s another win and now the key is to able to win all the home games. If we are able to achieve that then we will be ok,” Joshua says.
“We have to stop thinking we have won anything yet and once we get that mental shape then we will be okay,” he told Ghanasoccernet.
Tijani was a member of the CHAN squad that won silver at the African Championship of Nations in South Africa last year.
