Pastor Akwasi Agyeman Pambuo of the Church of Christ Anointed Healing Ministry in Kumasi has called on all supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to pray and fast for three days to seek guidance and direction from the Almighty God towards a united front.
The pastor appealed to believers in the party to do so immediately, since according to him fasting and praying are the only solution to solve the internal bickering in the NPP fraternity.
In a letter to the rank and file of the NPP, which was copied to the Chronicle in Kumasi last Friday, the Man of God cited with quotations from the Holy Scriptures that “a kingdom at war with itself will collapse”.
He quoted from the book of Genesis 11:1-9 using the story of Babel as an instance, saying it was very essential for the party to unite in one accord.
Pastor Agyeman Pambuo indicated that when the “whole world spoke the same language, using the same words” upon reaching the land of Shinar, they were able to build themselves a city and tower, and called on the rank and file of the NPP to unite and achieve their common goal of achieving power to the glory of God.
Still quoting the bible, Pastor Agyeman Pambuo reminded the NPP that when they have made an effort and achieved unity, the Lord would be gladdened as in the bible, thus ‘the Lord came down to see the city and the tower that the men had built, the Lord said, if now while they are one people, all speaking the same language, and have started doing this, nothing will stop them from doing whatever they presume to do.’
