Stranded passengers of Arik Airline are demanding answers from the airline as to when they will get to fly to their destination.
The passengers were scheduled to fly to the Gambia last night but as of Monday morning, Arik Airline had yet to arrange for a plane.
Some of the passengers who spoke to Joy News claimed they had been left unattended to since last night.
A passenger who said he had scheduled very important appointments said he was shocked to be told his flight had been cancelled after he had waited for several hours.
“And they are saying that there is no flight until Friday. There is a lady from Gambia who said she came from Kumasi, she has no money on her – she is still at the airport here,” an angry passenger related.
Some of the passengers say they might have to make alternative arrangements to be able to fly back to the Gambia.
Airline officials told Joy News they are taking steps to fix the situation.
