The Weija Water head works has started pumping water again after almost five days of breakdown of control panels that facilitate the water pumping process.
The panels aid the pumps to supply water through the pipe lines to the western part of Accra.
The break exacerbated the already poor water supply situation that residents of Accra have suffered for a considerably long time now.
But the situation has been rectified now.
Confirming the completion of repairs of the control panels to Asempa News, Deputy Minister of Water Resources Works and Housing, Dr. Hannah Louisa Bissew said the situation is being closely monitored.
