A new compact 1.6 litre SUV that scores so high on design, passenger safety, reliability, interior space, practicality and price competitiveness has been launched in Accra.
Born out of the rich SsangYong heritage in the design and manufacturing of 4-wheel drive vehicles, the Tivoli launch marks the arrival of a new sibling to Rexton and Korando.
Launching the vehicle, General Manager of MAS, Mr. Amine Kabbara noted the launch marks the birth a new compact SUV designed for convenience and comfort that meets the craving need of the young buyer and the young at heart
“Customers in Ghana can now have the opportunity to drive a car that scores so high on many levels as it competes strongly on design, safety, reliability, interior space and practicality at affordable price,” he assured.
Present to support top Management members of MAS to witness the birth of this new vehicle were customers and lovers of the SsangYong brand.
Ghanaian Actor, John Dumelo was there to support the launch He could not hide his admiration for the new Tivoli.
The Tivoli comes with a newly developed 1.6 litre petrol engine designed for fuel efficiency and can be combined with the choice of manual or automatic transmission, and either a 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive system.
It also offers best in class passenger safety standards including seven airbags and warning reminder on all five seat belt positions.
Also unique is the opportunity for individualization with the ability to change the background color of the instrument cluster to any six colors.
There are eight attractive exterior colors which can be teamed with beige or black interior, the choice of cloth, or leather upholstery.
Furthermore, the Smart Steer system allows further choice with three different steering settings- normal, sport and comfort.
