A former Chief Director of the National Commission on Culture, Mr Kofi Asuman, has been appointed by the National Media Commission as the new Managing Director of New Times Corporation.
His appointment takes effects from May 9, 2007.
A press release signed by Mr. George Sarpong, Executive Secretary of the Commission, said Mr Asuman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with Sociology and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Ghana.
He has worked as Administrative Manager of the National Banking College and as Director of Administration of the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission.
The statement said Mr Asuman is an expert on organizational development and has been a consultant for several organizations on matters relating to the restructuring of companies.
He also has training in banking, public relations, advertising and marketing.
