The Ghana Armed Forces has denied reports that its officers are stranded in Liberia.About 200 military officers from Ghana said they were stranded in the Liberian capital of Monrovia. The officers said they were returning to Ghana from peace keeping duties in that country.According to them, they left their base in Dikana for Monrovia on Monday but have been stuck in Monrovia because their flight has since not shown up.One of the officers who spoke to Joy News on condition of anonymity said they have been compelled to turn the airport into a temporary shelter while they await word from the Military High Command. But head of public affairs at the Ghana Armed Forces, Col. E.K. Nibo, says the soldiers are misleading the public.According to him, awaiting aircraft at the airport is a normal occurrence in peacekeeping missions.Source: Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
