Apostle John Annan Adotey, President of the Apostolic Church-Ghana, on Sunday asked Christians to lead exemplary and upright lives that would help change society.
He said the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross and His Resurrection, would be meaningless if Christians failed to act as agents of change in society.
Apostle Adotey made the call when he preached the sermon at a Service to to climax an Easter Convention organised by the Tema Metropolis branch of The Apostolic Church in Tema.
The four-day Convention had: "The Exalted Christ" as its theme.
The Apostolic Church President urged Ghanaians to do away with partisan politics and unite to find solutions to the problems confronting "us as a people with a common destiny."
He reminded Ghanaians that God was all-loving, and all-caring, and that He would bless this nation if all and sundry lived peacefully with one another.
At the International Central Gospel Church (Zoe Temple) at Community Five in Tema, Reverend Kojo Amo-Asare, the Pastor in charge, urged the Christian community to use the Easter celebrations" to stretch forth their hands to the deprived, under-privileged, and the needy in society", by providing them with some of the basic necessities in life.
Rev. Amo-Asare said as Christians commemorated the death and resurrection of Christ, they should be endeavour to walk in the true light of God.
