Black Stars management committee member, Wilfred Osei Palmer, has jumped to the defence of Black Stars head coach Avram Grant over remarks he made after Ghana’s 3-1 win over Mozambique in Accra.
The Israeli after the game was of the view that Ghanaians should concentrate on football rather than pay attention to irrelevant things.
“If this nation will concentrate on the football and not the bullshit, and just the football because there is a lot of passion, we can reach higher, high level. It is a long term target but achievable,’’ Avram said.
In a response to the issue which has generated interest among the sporting fraternity, Osei Palmer was of the view Grant was not serious about his comments.
“Certain things may not sound proper to somebody who may have been raised in Ghana but it is normal with others who were raised outside,” he told Asempa Sports
“It is time we know how we talk to our coach. It depends on the context in which you look at it.”
The FA Management member also stated that the FA committee will meet the coach to discuss the issues and recommend certain actions if needed.
