The Nyinahin magistrate court has sentenced a 28-year-old farmer to six months imprisonment for unlawful entry and stealing soup, stew and 20 balls of kenkey, property of Madam Cecilia Konadu, a chop bar keeper. Amidu Acheampong pleaded guilty and asked for leniency. Police Chief Inspector David Nkrumah Danso told the court that on April 6 this year, the complainant returned from an all night prayer service and detected that the items were missing.
