The atmosphere at the Forecourt of the State House on Friday was not just gloomy but felt gloomy as the late Joseph Boakye Danquah -Adu was laid in state.
Political giants across the country gathered there to wish their brother, friend, and advisor farewell.
The former Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu was murdered at his residence on February 9, 2016.
The final funeral rites of the late MP began Friday, April 15, 2016.
Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Wood and former President John Agyekum Kufuor watched proceedings.

The body will be laid in state again at Akyem Old Tafo Catholic Park on Saturday, April 16, 2016.
A memorial service in his honour will be held at Akyem - Tafo in the Eastern Region on Sunday, April 17, 2016.
