Sekondi Hasaacas striker Eric Bekoe has set sights on winning the goal king award for the 2016 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Kotoko striker joined Hasaacas at the beginning of the season and has already bagged four goals in seven outings.
Bekoe, who won the 2007/2008 goal king award, believes his major aim is to score more goals to help his side end in the top four.
“Your responsibility as a striker is to score all the time and by avoiding selfishness on the field of play,” he told Asempa Sports
“I know at the end of the season we will be in the top four.”
“From the beginning of the season I said I will not talk much but I want my performances to prove that I am the old same person because I don’t want people to say I have faded out as a player.”
“As a striker, I am aiming to win the golden boot and push my team into the top four position.”
“As a team, we know it not easy to win away from home but with the preparation and determination, we know we can win this particular match against Aduana.”
“In football there are only three things and that is, win, draw and lose but we are sticking to win this match”.
Adams because he is a player am dreaming to play upfront with. He added.
Hasaacas are 8th on the log after seven matches with 10 points.
