Inter Allies coach Herbert Addo has blamed his sides profligacy in front of goal for their 2-0 defeat at Wa All Stars.
The Tema side held their own for large portions of the game against the league leaders for large portions of the game as well as creating decent chances.
A combination of their wastefulness and goalkeeping heroics by Richard Ofori kept the scoreline level.
With time running out and Inter Allies heading for a priceless away point, Richard Arthur and Emmanuel Ocran scored in quick succession to obliterate Inter Allies’ dreams .
Herbert Addo is ruing the missed chances against their opponents.
“Once again we failed to bury our chances and we were punished for that,” he said.
“In football if you get your chances and you don’t take them your opponents will take advantage of that and that is what we saw today.
“We just have to go back and prepare for a next game at home.”
Inter-Allies host Techiman City at the Tema Park next week Sunday in a matchday 10 fixture
